This icon represents the Bluetooth radio installed in your 7530 G2.
2.5.3 Audio Indicators
The 7530 G2 beeper provides a variety of sounds and can be config-
ured to emit a sound under a variety of conditions. Refer to ‘Volume
Adjustment’ in Chapter 5 of the ‘7530 G2 Hand-Held Computer
User Manual’ for details about determining when your unit will
beep.
Adjusting The Beeper Volume
The volume function keys located along the top of the keyboard are
used to adjust the beeper volume emitted from your 7530 G2. The
increase volume function key is labelled with a plus symbol
and the decrease volume key is labelled with a minus sign .
To adjust the beeper volume:
• Press the [BLUE] key twice to lock it ‘on’.
• Press the increase volume function key or the decrease vol-
ume function key until the volume meets your needs.
• Press the [BLUE] key again to ‘unlock’ it.
2.6 Monitoring The Network Connection
If your hand-held is equipped with a wireless LAN radio, it will typ-
ically associate with the nearest access point. The radio signal qual-
ity meter in the taskbar indicates the relative strength of the
communication link.
• Use the arrow keys to highlight the radio signal icon in the
taskbar.
• Press [ENTER] to display the radio quality dialog box.
