Chapter 5: Connecting To A LAN With 802.11b
Installing The 802.11b Radio
5.1 Installing The 802.11b Radio
Note: An instruction sheet is enclosed with each Psion Teklogix 802.11b radio
to walk you through the installation steps.
The WORKABOUT PRO operates with an 802.11b Direct Sequence Spread
Spectrum radio. The CF (Compact Flash) card is easily installed in the unit.
• To begin, remove the battery pack. If your unit is using AC power,
disconnect it.
• Remove the stylus from the end-cap.
• Remove the end-cap at the top of the WORKABOUT PRO
–unscrew the
four Phillips head screws from the cap.
