RESTRICTIONS
The RS-232 interface hardware and software data
flow control features that are mutually exclusive
and both should not be enabled at the same time.
CTS/RTS – hardware flow control. If this
feature is enabled, Xon/Off (software
flow control) should be disabled. The
result of enabling both flow controls is
unpredictable.
Xon/Xoff – software flow control. If this
feature is enabled, CTS/RTS (hardware
flow control) should be disabled. The
result of enabling both flow controls is
unpredictable.
