5.3.2 Installation preparations
For proper installation of the equipment on site, the operator must
ensure that the following requirements are met:
Personnel qualification
The devices must be installed by a qualified electrician.
location of installation

Ensure that there is sufficient space available for the installation
of the bridge, so that it does not in any way interfere with the
operation of the existing machine components.
Permissible ambient conditions
Temperature: – 25 °C to +60 °C
Relative air humidity: max. 95 %, non-condensing
The bridge must not be installed in a location that is near a strong
electromagnetic field (e.g. generator, high-voltage cable, electric
drive unit, etc.).
required connections
Power supply: 100 – 240 V AC, 50 / 60 Hz
0.19 – 0.33 A
Network: Ethernet with TCP/IP, baud rate: 10/100 Mbit/s
Installation and commissioning
The bridge must be
installed at an exposed
location that is within
sight of the machines.
