OPERATIONS Please read this manual, and the separate “SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS” thoroughly before using the equipment. Always ensure that the equipment is used safely. Prepare a new lamp. 3. Check that the projector has cooled sufficiently, and gently turn it upside down. 4. Loosen the two screws as shown in the diagram, and remove the lamp cover. 5. Loosen the one screw, and gently remove the lamp while holding the grips. Touching the inside of the lamp case may result in uneven coloring. 6.
MAINTENANCE (continued) Air Filter Maintenance Switch power OFF and remove the power cord from the power outlet before beginning maintenance work. Please read the separate “SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS” thoroughly to ensure that maintenance is performed correctly. The air filter should be cleaned as described below at intervals of approximately 100 hours. 1. Switch the projector power supply OFF, and remove the power cord from the power outlet. 2. Clean the air filter with a vacuum cleaner.
OSD Message The messages as described below may appear on the screen at power ON. Take the appropriate measures when such a message appears. Table 8.
