Windows 2000 Installation Steps
The first time you turn on the computer after inserting the Harmony 802.11a PCI Card,
the Add New Hardware Wizard will appear automatically, as shown in the following
example.
Follow these steps to install the Harmony 802.11a software in a computer running
Windows 2000:
1. Insert the Harmony Installation CD into the computer’s CD-ROM drive.
2. Click Next to continue.
3. Select Search for a suitable driver for my device (recommended) and click Next.
4. Place a check mark next to the CD-ROM drives option and click Next.
5. The New Hardware Wizard will prompt you once it has located the driver. Click
Next to install the driver.
6. Click Yes to continue if the New Hardware Wizard prompts you that the driver
does not contain a Microsoft Digital Signature.
7. Cl i ck Finish to close the New Hardware Wizard.
8. If prompted, restart the computer.
9. Proceed to the Harmony Utility installation instructions on page 11.
