Connect to Internet:
Maestro offers two ways to manually connect to the Internet from any com-
puter on the wireless network.
Method 1: Open the Maestro tool and click <Connect>.
Method 2: Right-click the Symphony Conductor icon and choose Connect
from the drop-down menu.
These methods also apply when manually disconnecting from the Internet.
Reconfigure ISP Information:
Using the Maestro Configuration Tool, you can edit, add, delete, or switch
between ISP accounts. The Symphony Conductor can store the configuration
information for up to three (3) ISP accounts.
To view the ISP accounts, click <Configure> under the Symphony Conductor
Status heading. You may edit the ISP information, including User Name,
Password, ISP’s phone number, ISP Type, and DNS addresses, for any of these
accounts. To change the DNS addresses, click <Advanced>.
To add an ISP account, click <Add ISP...> and fill in the necessary fields. To
delete an ISP account, click <Remove ISP...> and select an account from the
ISP Name drop-down menu.
Maestro offers two ways to switch between ISP accounts.
Method 1: Open the Maestro tool, click <Configure>, and select a new ISP
from the ISP Name drop-down menu.
Method 2: Right-click the Symphony Conductor icon and choose Switch ISP
from the drop-down menu to select a different account.
Dial On Demand:
Click <Configure> under the Symphony Conductor Status heading and
choose the Dial On Demand tab to set when the Conductor will automatically
connect or disconnect from the ISP.
For example, you can configure the Conductor to dial out to the ISP whenever
an Internet browser is launched from any computer on the wireless network.
Also, Maestro lets you to set a time limit so that the Internet connection will be
automatically disconnected after the specified period of inactivity.
Symphony Conductor Configuration:
You may enable or disable modem sharing (the ability of other computers on
the Symphony network to use the shared modem) and prohibit the remote con-
figuration of the Reconfigure ISP Information and Dial On Demand settings.
