Installation and Initialization
This chapter describes the steps required to install and mount the 5012/5054-SUI, including installing, mounting, and
aligning the antenna. The installation procedure does not include the mounting and connection of antennas. See the
Tsunami MP.11 Antenna Installation Guide for this information.

Hardware Overview
The 5012/5054-SUI is an full-featured indoor Subscriber Unit (SU) that is fully compatible with Tsunami MP.11 Model
5054, 954-R, 5054-R, and 5054-R-LR Base Station Units (BSUs).
The unit is designed for desk-, wall-, or ceiling mounting. It is powered either through DC power or through Power-Over-
Ethernet (see Power-over-Ethernet), and is equipped with the following connectors and controls:
• Ethernet port
• RS-232 serial port
• Reset button: Reboots the hardware and software
• Reload button: Resets the unit to factory defaults
