The following table describes the security modes you can configure.
If some wireless clients support WPA and some support WPA2, you should set up WPA2-
PSK-Mix or WPA2-Mix (depending on the type of wireless network login) in the LAN-Cell.
Many types of encryption use a key to protect the information in the wireless network. The
longer the key, the stronger the encryption. Every wireless client in the wireless network must
have the same key.

SECURITY MODE DESCRIPTION
None Select this to have no data encryption.
WEP Select this to use WEP encryption.
802.1x-Only Select this to use 802.1x authentication with no data encryption.
802.1x-Static64 Select this to use 802.1x authentication with a static 64bit WEP key and an
authentication server.
802.1x-Static128 Select this to use 802.1x authentication with a static 128bit WEP key and
an authentication server.
WPA Select this to use WPA.
WPA-PSK Select this to use WPA with a pre-shared key.
WPA2 Select this to use WPA2.
WPA2-MIX Select this to use either WPA2 or WPA depending on which security mode
the wireless client uses.
WPA2-PSK Select this to use WPA2 with a pre-shared key.
WPA2-PSK-MIX Select this to use either WPA-PSK or WPA2-PSK depending on which
security mode the wireless client uses.
