2 CARACTERISTIQUES
12 PPM MODE RECEIVER CONFIGURATION

It exists on the market transmitter using a positive PPM signal (so your Protronik together) and others using a negative
PPM signal. In order to offer the widest compatibility, especially for wireless schooling, your receiver offers both types of
polarity. In both cases, the receiver offers simultaneously on the BATT/PPM connector PPM signal of the requested
polarity and channel signals CH1 to CH6 to the corresponding connectors.
The outputs of channels and the PPM signal are available simultaneously.
As shipped with the factory configuration, the receiver delivers a positive PPM signal.
IMPORTANT : do not plug in any way a servo output on BATT/PPM connector, otherwise destroy the device.
12.1 CROSSING THE RECEIVER IN PPM NEGATIVE MODE
1 / Turn on your transmitter and receiver and make sure they are properly paired. The receiver's red LED should be on.
2 / Press the receiver BIND button for 5 seconds by holding until the red LED flashes 2 times.
3 / Release BIND button. Your receiver is now in negative PPM mode.
4 / Check with the greatest care that you properly control your model or other device using the PPM signal before flying.
12.2 CROSSING THE RECEIVER IN PPM POSITIVE MODE
1 / Turn on your transmitter and receiver and make sure they are properly paired. The receiver's red LED should be on.
2 / Press the receiver BIND button for 5 seconds by holding until the red LED flashes 2 times.
3 / Release BIND button. Your receiver is now in positive PPM mode.
4 / Check with the greatest care that you properly control your model or other device using the PPM signal before flying.
Note that if the possibility of reversing the output PPM polarity allows you to get the most possible compatibility
with third-party trademarks of devices. Protronik however, assume any guarantee on the final compatibility of the signal
with all third brand appliances.
The signal can be used to directly power a flight controller for multi-rotor for example.
In this case, a single servo cord between the connector and the input CH7 flight controller is sufficient to transmit all
channels orders.
