When carrying out an activity where the

conductors or its own power cord, hold
the electromechanical tool by the insulated
surfaces.Touchingthemachiningtoolwith
a"live"electricalconductormaycausethe
exposedmetalpartsoftheelectromechanical
tooltobecome“live”andleadtoinjuryofthe
userbyelectricshock.

alsosuitableforscrewingandthread‑cutting.

Starting and Operation
Incorrectoperationcanleadtodamageofthe
unit.Thereforealwaysobservethefollowing
recommendations:
‑ Sharpdrillbitsoptimizeperformancewhilst
minimizingwearonthemachine.
‑ Donotplacesuchloadsonthemachinethat
itceasestoturn.
‑ Changerotationaldirectiononlywhenthe
machineisnotmoving.
Ensurethatthevoltageofthepowersupply
matchestheinformationonthetypeplateofthe
powertool.Toolswitharatingof230Vcanalso
beconnectedtoa220V/240Vsupply.

mainscablemodule(7).Bydisconnecting
themainscableandthemachine,bothcan
betransportedeasier.Insertthemainscable
module(7)intothesocket(14)ofthemachine
andsecurebyturningthesleeve(15)in
clockwisedirection.
Toundotheconnection,turnthesleeve(15)in
counterclockwisedirectionandpullthemains
cablemodule(7)fromthesocket(14).
Usethemainscablemoduleonlyfor
PROTOOLpowertools.Donotattemptto
operateothermachineswithit.
Auxiliary handle
Theenclosedauxiliaryhandle(12)mountson
thecollar(3).Itshouldalwaysbeusedtoensure
operatingsafety.Thedrillingdepthcanbeset
withthedepthstop(13).
Thepositionoftheauxiliaryhandleandthe
depthstopcanbechangedbyturningthe
handle.
