Description
Protecto Form Flash 2 EPDM is a cold applied self-adhering membrane composed of uncured EPDM
with an exterior protective film on one side and a layer of Recycled Butyl Adhesive with a release liner on
the other side.

Uses
Protecto Form Flash 2 EPDM is used to seal around cable, electrical, gas line, hose bibs, dryer vents,
air exchange vents and pipe penetrations in the exterior sheathing, roofing applications, CMU and Poured
in Place Concrete. Eliminates the need for Lead flashings, can be used at all roof to wall transitions,
around chimneys and solar panels.
Limitations
Not recommended in high temperature applications which exceed 300°F.
Shelf Life
Protecto Form Flash 2 EPDM maintains optimum initial adhesion to substrates when used within one
year from the date of manufacture.
Storage
Protecto Form Flash 2 EPDM should be stored in the original, unopened container at ambient
temperatures between 5 - 32°C (40-90°F). Storage area should remain dry and out of direct sunlight. Do
not remove materials from original containers until ready for use. Do not double stack pallets.
Preparation
Surface shall be clean, dry and free of any foreign materials. The surface shall be free of gaps, sharp
edges and protrusions.
Metal surfaces may need to be wiped with a double rag wipe, first rag with solvent to remove dirt or
contaminates and second dry rag to remove any solvent or residue, and/or abraded to achieve optimum
adhesion.
