The ABS warning lamp goes

If an ABS error is indicated fol-
lowing completion of the ABS
self-diagnosis routine:
It remains possible to continue
riding. Please be aware that
neither the ABS nor the inte-
gral function is available.
Have the malfunction corrected
as soon as possible at a spe-
cialist service facility, preferably
an authorized BMW Motorrad
retailer.
ASC self-diagnosis
with automatic Stability Con-
trol
OE
The self-diagnosis routine is de-
termining whether the BMW
Motorrad Integral ASC is ready
for operation. The self-diagno-
sis routine launches automatically
when you switch on the ignition.
Phase 1

Phase 2
Checking system components
capable of diagnosis while
starting off. So that the ASC
self-diagnosis can be com-
pleted, the engine must be
running and the motorcycle
must drive at a speed of at

ASC self-diagnosis
completed
The ASC symbol is no longer
displayed.
If an ABS error is indicated fol-
lowing completion of the ABS
self-diagnosis routine:
