❒ Activate the top only with the engine
running to prevent draining the bat-
tery.
❒ Before closing the top remove any
foreign matter from the windscreen
frame.
❒ Keep to the safety instructions given
previously.
❒ With boot open, top movement is
automatically hindered. Always
make sure the boot is perfectly
closed before operating the top.
Press button C-fig. 61 side windows
will open sligthly.
❒ When starting to open/close the
top, make sure that the windows
slightly open automatically (“short
drop”), otherwise release the top
control button C-fig. 61 and open
both windows pressing the relevant
button, or open the doors. Should
this malfunctioning persist, contact
Alfa Romeo Authorised Services.

❒ When the top is opened/closed by
pressing button C-fig. 61, and it is
stopped in any intermediate position,
also with the electronic key removed
from the ignition device, the follow-
ing conditions will take place:
– after 12 minutes, pressing button
C-fig. 61 it will only be possible
to close the top;
– passing other 3 minutes, although
pressing button C it will not be
possible either to open or to close
the top. To open/close the top
through button C you will have to
wait at least 10 minutes with the
electronic key removed from the
ignition device in order to let the
top opening/closing system to
cool-down.
