Airtherm air heater

Air heater with highly ﬂ exible connector hose

The Airtherm air heater was designed speciﬁ cally to heat compressed

air. The air is heated in the connector head, which is equipped with

a ceramic heating element and corresponding sensor. The feed

connection is by way of a highly ﬂ exible hose, in which both com-

pressed air and the power cable are integrated. Separation of air

and electrics takes place in a connector housing.

Depending on the requirements, the air temperature can be set up

to max. 100°C (measured at the pistol nozzle). The compact form

permits easy integration into existing systems.

Automatic paint spraying systems, painting robots, manual spray-

ing, prevention of condensation;

Breathing air heating (protective wear):

In ﬁ re ﬁ ghting, chemical industry, tank cleaning, ...

General mechanical engineering

Depending on the connector housing version, the Airtherm is also

suitable for use in explosive environments. The power cable is 2

metres long and modiﬁ ed for connection to a controller speciﬁ cally

conceived for this application.

For control purposes use our HT 40 controllers, the HT 55L with

special air handling software (permits connection of 2 Airtherms),

or an appropriately certiﬁ ed Airtherm controller for the explosion-

proof application (EEX E II 200°C T 3) (installed outside the explosive

environment zone).
