EKL for the -area

The EKL single-wire PFA heating cord is a very ﬂ exible, ﬁ xed-resist-

ance heating cord. So it can be used simply and effortlessly to heat

pipes, pumps, valves or containers. It offers constant output per me-

tre and ensures easy assembly even at low ambient temperatures,

so it can be ﬁ nished without problems on the construction site.

It is highly mechanically and chemically resistant and is steam rinse-

proof.

The coupler meets the explosion protection requirements for electrical systems of

device group II and device categories 2G and 2D. It serves to create an electrical

connection between single-wire EKL heating cords (page 21). The permissible

holding temperature range is max. +170°C (depending on the power loading)
