General Pointer and Facts
Hard cap
Tear- and twist safeguard
The hard cap is fi rmly bonded with the basic hose. Consequently,
there is no tearing or twisting of the cap due to heat expansion or
strong movements of the heating hose.
Bending safeguard
Through the hard cap, the bending point of the basic hose is moved
well behind the fi tting and thus the critical transition between the
hose and fi tting is neutralised by the hard cap and the time between
overhauls of the basic hose is increased.
Connection
The connector of the hard cap has an integrated terminal block, to
which you may connect the connecting wires if required. This will
enable you to effortlessly change connections without opening the
entire connection area.
The hard caps can be supplied for heating hoses up to DN 25.
Option: Miniature control unit HT 54 integrated into the hard cup.

Soft cap
Temperature stability
The soft cap of silicone or elastomer is characterised by its high
temperature stability.
Space requirement
Through their suppleness, they fi t snugly around the ends of the
heating hose and thus require less space than hard caps.
Anti-kink protection
Through their anti-kink protection and the internal strain relief, they
prevent any buckling of the mains connection cable.
The soft caps are available for heating hoses up to DN 50.
