Problem Probable cause possible solution
Unit is activated but noth-
ing happens
Timer clears after priming
Remote timer is not work-
ing
Check to see if the power
source has been properly
connected
Restart the timer and try
again
Check remote connections
Bed appears too be to hot Fans are obstructed Ensure all fans or clear of
obstructions and dust.
Unit temperature abnor-
mally warm
Bed is too close to the
wall
Pull the bed away from
the wall at least 6 – 12
inches.
Individual lamps do not
light
Lamp not in socket
properly
Lamp is defective
Starter is defective
Turn lamp in socket until
lamp illuminates
Replace lamp
Replace starter
Facial tanner does not light Face tanner switch is
turned to “Off” position
Lamp is defective
Switching from “On” to
“Off” and back again too
quickly
Turn face tanner switch to
On” position
Replace lamp
Wait a few minutes after
switching facials back
“On” again
(approximately 3 minute
cool down time)
