3 Connecting the WAHryTone
3.1 The Front Panel
Effect On LED
This LED lights up when the WAHryTone is operational. A blinking LED means that the device is running but not
connected to the app.
Antenna
The antenna is needed by the WAHryTone to communicate with the app.
Expression Pedal Connector
Here you can connect an expression pedal via mono jack cable or an expression pedal with switch via a stereo jack
cable. (see chapter 3.3).
3.2 The Rear Panel
Power Connector
The WAHryTone must be powered necessarily using a 9V~AC (alternating current!) power supply. The WAHry-
Tone will not work with direct current (DC). Higher voltages can destroy the WAHryTone.
MIDI In
Connect the [MIDI In] of the WAHryTone using a MIDI cable to the [MIDI Out] of the foot controller or the [MIDI
Out] of the Prostage XDS | XLS | XTMpro. If several MIDI effect devices are used, the [MIDI In] from the WAHryTone
can also be connected to the MIDI [Thru] of another device in your MIDI chain.
MIDI Out/Thru
All data received at the MIDI In are forwarded on the [MIDI Out/Thru]. You can connect e.g. other effects devices
or a MIDI-capable guitar amp to this connector. Further, MIDI data generated by the WAHryTone (e.g. Tuner data)
is also sent on the [MIDI Out/Thru].
Guitar In
Connect your Guitar to the [Guitar In] using a jack cable.
Guitar Out
Connect the [Guitar Out] to your guitar amplifier or the next effects unit, using a jack cable.
