6 Creating Presets Using the Prostage System Manager Software
The Prostage System Manager software is the user interface for the configuration of the complete Prostage Sys-
tem. The software is available as a free download on the website (Mac & PC). The software requires a Prostage
XDS, XLS or XTMpro as a MIDI interface. This unit is the heart of every Prostage system.
The settings for the Prostage effect devices can be found in [Windows] => [Advanced Settings] in the [Effects
Devices] tab. If the WAHryTone is not already selected, you have to select it in the top left corner of [Model]. The
software offers you a clear structured window where you can set all the parameters of the WAHryTone and save
presets easily.
6.1 Connecting the WAHryTone to the XDS | XLS | XTMpro
In order that the System Manager software can communicate with the WAHryTone, it must be connected to the
XDS | XLS | XTMpro via MIDI. Connect [MIDI Out A] or [MIDI Out B] from the XDS | XLS | XTMpro to the [MIDI In]
of the WAHryTone. In the System Manager window in the upper right you have to specify which MIDI Out you are
using [WAHryTone is connected to MIDI Out A B].
In order to also read the settings of the WAHryTone, another MIDI cable is required from the [MIDI Out/Thru] of
the WAHryTone to the [MIDI In] of the XDS | XLS | XTMpro.
