Eachrowofthetablecorrespondstoonematchfilterallowingupto8
distinctfilterstoidentifyandassignapriorityvaluetoreceivedEthernet
packets.Eachfilterhasseveralparametersthatcanbeenabledbyclickingon
itscheckbox.Whenmultipleparametersareenabled,allmustmatchbefore
thePrior
ityvalueisassignedtoapacket.

RapidSpanningTreeFunctionality
TheRapidSpanningTree(RSTP)optionisanadvancednetworkingfunctionthatshuts
offportsasnecessarytopreventdatapacketloopswhenmorethanonenetworkpath
isavailable.IfloopsarecreatedinanEthernetnetwork,packetscanbecirculate d
endlessly,consumingallthebandwidthandmakingthene tworkunusable.
RSTPallowsuserstocreat
etrulyredundantconnectionsbetweenanytwopointsinthe
network.Theradiosdetectthered undantpathsandkeeponeconnectionalivefor
communications.IfthePrimaryconnectionfailsforanyreason,thesecondary
connectionisquicklytransitionedtoastatetoforwardpackets,allowingthene
tworkto
adaptitselftohandleproblemswithoutcustomerintervention.
RTSPusesactivecommunicationsbetweennetworkdevicestopropagatechangesinthe
