Eachrowofthetablecorrespondstoonematchfilterallowingupto8
distinctfilterstoidentifyandassignapriorityvaluetoreceivedEthernet
packets.Eachfilterhasseveralparametersthatcanbeenabledbyclickingon
itscheckbox.Whenmultipleparametersareenabled,allmustmatchbefore
thePrior
ityvalueisassignedtoapacket.
Thefollowingprioritymapfilterfieldsaresupported:
Priority–ThepriorityvaluetoassigntothereceivedEthernet
frameifitwasnotalreadymarkedwithapriorityvalueandifall
enabledfilterfieldsmatch.
SourceIPAddress–Afieldmatc
hoccursforallpacketsreceived
fromthedevicewiththeenteredIPaddress.
DestinationIPAddress–Afieldmatchoccursforallpackets
receivedaddressedtothedevicewiththeenteredIPaddress.
SourcePortNo.–AfieldmatchoccursforallIPpacketsreceived
withthissourc
eportvalue.

ProtocolNo.–AfieldmatchoccursforallIPpacketsreceivedwith

PacketLength–Thisfieldcontains2sub‐fields.Aneditboxto
enterapacketlengththreshold,andcheckboxestoselectwhether
afieldmatchoccursifthelengthofthereceivedpacketislessthan
thethresholdorifitisgreaterthanorequaltothethreshold.
RapidSpanningTreeFunctionality
TheRapidSpanningTree(RSTP)optionisanadvancednetworkingfunctionthatshuts
offportsasnecessarytopreventdatapacketloopswhenmorethanonenetworkpath
isavailable.IfloopsarecreatedinanEthernetnetwork,packetscanbecirculate d
endlessly,consumingallthebandwidthandmakingthene tworkunusable.
RSTPallowsuserstocreat
etrulyredundantconnectionsbetweenanytwopointsinthe
network.Theradiosdetectthered undantpathsandkeeponeconnectionalivefor
communications.IfthePrimaryconnectionfailsforanyreason,thesecondary
connectionisquicklytransitionedtoastatetoforwardpackets,allowingthene
tworkto
adaptitselftohandleproblemswithoutcustomerintervention.
RTSPusesactivecommunicationsbetweennetworkdevicestopropagatechangesinthe
networkandtocausetransitionstooccurmuchmorequickly.BecauseRTSPisanIEEE
