SSID
ServiceSetIdentifier(SSID)isanameassignedtoawireless
network.RepeatersandClientsmustbeconfiguredwiththe
sameSSIDtoconnect.NotethatMasterradiostypically
advertisetheirpresencebybroadcastingtheirSSID.
However,SSIDannouncementscanbedisabledsothatother
wirelessdevicesdonotdetectsu
chMasters,IfaMasteris
nottransmittingitsSSID,thisfieldwillindicateHiddenalong
withtheSSID,forexampleProSoft/hidden.
