Somechannelsinthe5GHzbandaresharedwithradarandmustadheretoDynamic
FrequencySelection(DFS)rules.Thismeansthatiftheradiodetectsthepresenceof
radaronitsoperatingfrequency,itmustautomaticallychangetoanotherfrequency .
MasterRadioOperations
Ifradarisdetectedonanoperatingchannel,transmissionsmustceasewithinthe
requiredChannelClosingTransmissionTime,andmustmovetoanewchannelwithin
therequiredChannelMoveTime.BeforetransmittingonanewDFSchannelthathas
notbeenpreviouslycheckedforradar,theMasterradiomustmo
nitorthechannelfor
theChannelAvailability CheckTimebeforetransmitting.Operationscannotreturntoa
channelwhereradarwasdetectedforatleasttheNon‐OccupancyPeriod.Thevaluesfor
theseparametersarenotedinthetablebelow:

theradiowaspoweredon,transmissionscanbeginimmediately.
