5.14 Applying Templates
If you have a device configuration that works well for your needs, using
ACEmanager, you can save that device's configuration as a template and then
apply it to other RadioLinx Intelligent Cellular devices.
5.14.1 Creating the Template with ACEmanager
1 Configure your RLXIC-EV in ACEmanager.
2 Click on Apply (upper right hand) so that the configuration settings write to
the device.
3 Click on Download (menu tab) to save the template. A confirmation dialog
box comes.
4 Click on Ok.
5 Click on Save button, once the File Download box displays.
6 Type in a file name that is descriptive of the template (so you can find it easily
later) and save it to a location on your computer. Not all browsers will allow
you to change the name of the file while downloading. As long as you do not
change the extension, .xml, you can change the name and location of the file
after it has downloaded.
The template will now download.
