5.10.6 Email (SMTP)
For some functions, the device needs to be able to send email. Since it does not
have an embedded email server, you need to specify the email setting for the
device to use.
Field AT Command Description
Server IP
Address
*SMTPADDR
Specify the IP address or Fully Qualified Domain Name
(FQDN) of the SMTP server to use.
 d.d.d.d = IP Address
 name = domain name (maximum: 40 characters).
From email
address
*SMTPFROM
Sets the email address from which the SMTP message is
being sent.
 email = email address (maximum: 30 characters).
User Name
(Optional)
*SMTPUSER
Specifies the username to use when authenticating with
the server.
Password
(Optional)
*SMTPPW
Sets the password to use when authenticating the email
account (*SMTPFROM) with the server (*SMTPADDR).
 pw = password
Note: Not required to use SMTP settings but may be
required by your cellular carrier.
Message
Subject
*SMTPSUBJ
Allows configuration of the default Subject to use if one is
not specified in the message by providing a "Subject: xxx"
line as the initial message line.
 subject = message subject
