Choosing a Device for a Master Station
Overview
The master station in a SCADA system does the following:
Gets field data by periodically reading and/or receiving data directly from
the remote stations or through a submaster
Provides coordinated monitoring and control over the entire system
through its operator interface
Several master station types are possible.
