Diagnostics - Troubleshooting
System Diagnostics, an Overview
Using the DIAGNOSTICS function :
?? a graphical representation of the overall function of a network can be viewed
?? an individual radio can be queried, and its operating parameters displayed
The information obtained from the diagnostics function can be used to:
?? optimized network function
?? determine the source of failed communication
“Viewing” a Network’s Function
To view a graphical representation of a network’s
communication links, a Radio must be cabled to the
Configuration PC’s selected COM port.
From the Main OS2400 menu select:
?? DIAGNOSTIC
?? NETWORK
?? select the network by name from the displayed
list of configured networks
This is the OS2400’s graphical
representation of a Point-to-Point
network with intact communication links.
The RF link line is represented with a
solid black line.
