placetheAccessPoint
andRepeaterradiosintheirproposedlocations
temporarilyplaceeachradio’santennanearitsproposedmountinglocation.Thetemporary
placementoftheantennacanbebyhand,however,withthistestingmethod,oneperson
mustholdtheantennawhileanothermonitorstheRemoteradio’ssignalstrength(page94)
as
displayedontheConfigurationPC.
ToimprovethesignalqualityofeachRemote’scommunication:
increasetheheightoftheantenna’splacement
usehigher‐gainantennas
increasetheradio’stransmissionpower,cabletheradiototheConfigurationPC,and
reconfigureit(page34)
selectanewlocationfor
theRemoteradioand/oritsantenna
decreasethelengthofantennacable
determineandresolvesourcesof"electrical"noisewhichmaybeinterferingwiththeradio
transmission
addarepeater(page21)betweentheradiosthatarenotcommunicatingorreconfigurean
existingradioasarepeater
iflineofsightisavailable
