6.6 Configuring RSLinx
TocommunicatewithyourILX34‐AENWGadapteroveryournetwork,youmustconfigurethe
RSLinxEthernetcommunicationdriver(AB_ETH)ortheEtherNet/IPdriver(AB‐ETHIP).Youcan
configuretheAB_ETHdriverwiththeIPaddressesofalltheEthernetdevicesonyoursystem.
Youneedoneofthesedriverstodownload
theexampleapplicationprogramsinthismanual.
Note: If you have not already done so, please install RSLinx from your Rockwell Software CD-
ROM.
Attention: You must use Series C POINT I/O modules with the ILX34-AENWG adapter. Series A
or B POINT I/O modules will not work with this adapter.

