Operating Recommendations

•

Please read installation instructions carefully and completely before

installing unit.

•

If copper lines are in service, you must passivate the lines for a

minimum of 3 weeks before installing the system. Do not use on a

closed loop system.

•

Install unit in a vertical, upright and level position.

•

Allow a minimum of 3" under the system for cartridge replacements.

•

Install on cold water lines only.

Proper maintenance of the water heater is required when water

heater quality does not meet EPA standards. Damage caused by

poor water quality is not covered under warranty. The following

table shows the maximum contaminant levels allowed. If you

suspect that your water is contaminated in any way, discontinue

use of the water heater and contact an authorized technician or

licensed professional.
