connectionsaremadeinsidethejunctionboxontheleftsideoftheboiler.Removethetransformertogainaccesstothis
box(alsoseeFigures11and12):
• Hot(“black”)-Wirenuttoblacktransformerlead
• Neutral(“white”)-Wirenuttowhitetransformerlead
• Ground(“green”orbare)-Groundscrewinsidejunctionbox.
2)ThermostatWiring-Followthermostatmanufacturerinstructions.Toinsureproperthermostatoperation,avoid
installationinareasofpooraircirculation,hotspots(nearanyheatsourceorindirectsunlight),coldspots(outside
walls,wallsadjacenttounheatedareas,locationssubjecttodrafts).ProvideClassIIcircuitbetweenthermostatand
boiler.Connectthermostatwireleadstothebluetransformerleadandbrownrelayleadinsidethejunctionbox.Setthe
heatanticipatorto0.2A.
