Change the speed with the SPEED button on the remote or
the program end time with the CLEAR button on the remote
(if necessary).
Changing the end time comes in handy when you are
recording a program, such as a sporting event, that may
exceed the scheduled broadcast time.

STOPPING A TIMER RECORDING
To stop or cancel a timer recording in progress (even an Express
Recording):
• Press and hold the STOP button for several seconds until
STOP appears.
VCR Plus+ Recording
Clock must be set correctly,
Insert a tape with the safety tab in
place and enough tape to record
the program.
UNRECOGNIZED NUMBER...
PLEASE RE-ENTER appears when
theVCR does not recognize the
PlusCode number.
PROGRAMS OVERLAP appears if
you have entered two programs
where the times overlap.
TIMER appears in the display when
you turn off theVCR and a timer
recording has been set. TAPE
flashes if there is no tape in the
VCR.
For a cable box, turn it on and tune
it to the channel you want to
record before the recording is
to begin.
