About “Missing Models” and the “Replace” function
If you’re opening a patch or a Song where additional Line 6 Amp Models are used, and you don’t have any Line 6
hardware connected to your computer - or if you have Line 6 hardware connected, but the Patch or Song uses mod-
els from an optional Model Pack that haven't been installed in your hardware - the “Missing Line 6 Models” alert is
shown:
D Click “OK” to open the Song with the additional Amp Model temporarily replaced by a default Amp Model.
The Song opens with default Line 6 Amp Models instead. On the Line 6 Amp device(s), the “Missing Models” indi-
cator is lit to indicate that you’re currently using a replacement Amp Model.
As long as you don't change the model selection or click the “Replace” button (see below), you can go on working
with the song and save it as usual. The information about the missing models is retained - if you later open the
song with the right Line 6 hardware connected, the correct models will be used again.
If you want to permanently replace the missing Amp Model with the default model, you can easily do that.
D Click the “Replace” button to permanently replace the missing Amp Model with the currently used default one.
The “Missing Models” indicator goes off and the Amp Model has been permanently replaced by the default model.
Connections
Both Line 6 Amps have Left/Right inputs and outputs.
The Line 6 Guitar Amp also has CV inputs for controlling the Pedal parameters (Volume and Wah).
q For rhythmic auto-wah effects, try connecting the LFO CV output on a Thor or Subtractor to the Wah CV input
on the Line6 Guitar Amp!
