Assigning panel controls to parameters in the Editor
The Editor is used for key mapping and setting velocity ranges for instrument devices, and for Modulation Routing;
assigning device parameters to the knobs/buttons/sliders on the Control panel.
D To bring up the Editor panel, click the “Editor” button on the unfolded Control panel.
The Editor appears below the Control panel.

To the left on the Editor panel the devices in the current Combi are listed in the order they appear in the Com-
binator container - from top to bottom.
Clicking on a device in the list selects it for editing.
To the right is the Modulation Routing section where you can assign parameters to the controls on the Control
panel.

Key Mapping instrument devices
About the Key (receive MIDI Notes) column
To the right of the Device name is a Key column.
D Click to select if the device should respond to MIDI Note input.
If you deactivate the “Key” checkbox the selected device will not respond to incoming MIDI note messages.
For devices that cannot use MIDI notes (such as most effect devices), there is no checkbox in this column.
