Promote Control’s liquid crystal display has an RGB color backlight. You can choose any color or intensity
for the display backlight by varying the intensity of the R (red), G (green), or B (blue) backlight
components.
Choosing a lower backlight intensity results in a longer battery life. To keep the current backlight color,
and vary only the backlight intensity, change the R, G, and B components proportionally until you obtain
the desired backlight intensity. Changing any component without changing the others changes the color.
Note that the button backlight color does not change.
