USB. With select lens models, focusing may take longer than usual (commonly on some legacy close-up
and macro lens models). If your Promote Control does not always successfully refocus when performing
a Focus Stacking sequence, try increasing this setting until the problem is resolved.
This setting can also be set to a number lower than 400 milliseconds. Doing so is only recommended for
very fast lenses with ultrasonic focus mechanism. If Focus Stacking starts having issues refocusing as
intended, change this setting back to default value of 400 milliseconds, or higher as required.
8.3.35 Video focus step size
Default: Medium
This setting only applies to focus transitions in the Video Control mode. You can choose from "Small",
"Medium" or "Large" step size. Please note that with "Large" steps, a default "Video focus step delay"
may not be enough for your lens to complete the "Large" step. In that case, please increase "Video focus
step delay" to a higher value.
8.3.36 Video focus step delay
Default: 100ms
This setting only applies to focus transitions in the Video Control mode. You can set this setting from
100ms to 2000ms. Normally a default value of 100ms should be sufficient, however, if a "Large" setting is
chosen for "Video focus step size" , your lens may not have enough time to properly refocus during
this delay. In that case, set this delay to a higher value. Usually 200-300 ms works for all lenses.
8.3.37 Left+Mode shortcut
Default: Default (prev mode)
Using this option you can control what will happen if you hold Left button down while pressing Mode
button. By default this will scroll the mode list backwards - with this option you can assign a direct switch
to any of the modes that Promote Control supports. Subsequent Setup settings also allow similar
shortcuts for other combinations.
8.3.38 Right+Mode shortcut
Default: Default (next mode)
Choose a Promote Control to be activated when you hold Right button while pressing Mode button. By
default it will not change the behavior of Mode button (it will switch to the next mode). You can change
this setting to one of the modes you use the most often, if desired.
8.3.39 Up+Mode shortcut
Default: Default (next mode)
Choose a Promote Control to be activated when you hold Up button while pressing Mode button. By
