duAl cOntrOllers And sAtA drives
If your Vess subsystem has SATA disk drives installed, you must install a SAS-to-SATA adapter on each of the
SATA drives.
Without the SAS-to-SATA adapter, SATA drives display a red X icon and Not Usable status.
Obtain SAS-to-SATA adapters from PROMISE Technology at
http://www.promise.com.
SAS drives do not require adapters.
