If a physical drive fails during a transport, or you do not move all of the physical drives to their new locations,
WebPAM PROe displays an incomplete array. When WebPAM PROe discovers an incomplete array, it displays a
dialog box asking you to:
•
ClicktheOKbuttontoaccepttheincompletearray.
• ClicktheCancelbuttontorejecttheincompletearray.
Accepting an Incomplete Array
Before you accept the incomplete array, be sure all of the physical drives are present and that their drive
carriers are properly installed into the enclosure. See “Installing Your Drives” on page 36.
If you choose to accept the incomplete array:
1. Click OK in the incomplete array dialog box.
2. Check the operational status of the logical drives in the array.
• IfthelogicaldrivesareCritical,proceedwitharebuild.
• IfthelogicaldrivesareOfine,contactTechnicalSupport.See
“ContactingTechnicalSupport”onpage665.
3. Restore your data from a backup source.
If you choose NOT to accept the incomplete array:
1. Click Cancel in the incomplete array dialog box.
2. Do one of the following:
• Deletethearray.Thisactiondeletesalllogicaldrivesonthearray.
• Replacethemissingphysicaldrive.
