IfyouhaveaJBODExpansion,alwayspowerontheJBODsubsystemsrst.Then
power on the RAID subsystem.
To start the RAID subsystem:
1. Manually turn on the system by pressing the power button on the front left side
2. Wait about two minutes
3. Establish a serial connection to the Vess R2000.
See “Making a Serial Connection” on page 410.
WhentheLogin:promptappears,thestartupisnished.
4. Type menu and press Enter to open the CLU.
