Management of NAS local and domain users and user groups, user permission settings and the Domain setting
are done in the menus under the Account tab. NAS users can simultaneous be both local and domain users and
be in multiple user groups.
Query lOcAl And dOMAin users
The Type pull-down menu toggles the menu between
Local User
and
Domain User
menus. To navigate
the pages, click on the arrow symbols near the bottom of the menus to change the display, previous page, next
page, rst and last page. Use Page Capacity to determine how many rows of user or group information are
displayed on the page. The Search function is used to locate a user by name. To search a name, type the name
in the entry eld and press Enter.
usiNg the loCal user list
In NAS conguration: Account > NAS User and choose
Local User
from the Type pull-down menu. Use the
list of current local users to view basic information, change the user password, change user settings or to delete
the user. For each of the local user actions listed here, rst locate the Local User in the list (use the navigation
tools described in “Query Local and Domain Users”) and move the cursor to the list row for the user, and click on
the appropriate button to perform the action or display information.

Click on the View button to display basic user information.

1. Click Change Password button
2. Type the new password in the Password and again in the Retype Password entry elds.
3. Click the Apply button.
