ViewiNg eNClosure topology
This feature displays the connection topology of the Vess R2600 subsystem. Topology refers to the manner in
which the data paths among the enclosures are connected. There are three methods:
• Individual Subsystem – A single subsystem
• JBOD Expansion – Managed through one subsystem or head unit
• RAID Subsystem Cascading – Managed through one subsystem or head unit
To view enclosure topology:
1. Click the Device tab.
2. Click the Topology icon.
The topology or data connections of your system displays. (See example on next page)
