What kind of hard drives can I use with the SATAII150 or SATA300
Controller card?
You can use any Serial ATA disk drive(s) to create arrays on the SATAII150
or SATA300 Serial ATA Controller card. Use matching drives for multiple-
drive arrays to maximize capacity usage as well as performance.
Will ACPI work with disk drives on the SATAII150 or SATA300 Controller
card?
Yes.
Can I use ATAPI devices on the SATAII150 or SATA300 Controller card?
Yes. The SATAII150 and SATA300 Serial ATA Controller cards support Serial
ATAPI devices.
Will the SATAII150 or SATA300 Controller card work with 66MHz PCI bus
speed?
Yes, the SATAII150 and SATA300 Serial ATA Controller cards are designed
to accommodate the newer PCI bus speed and is backward compatible with
33MHz speeds.
How can I change the resources that the SATAII150 or SATA300 uses?
The SATAII150 and SATA300 Serial ATA Controller cards are fully PnP. This
means all the resources that it uses are given to it by the PnP BIOS on the
motherboard. The SATAII150 andSATA300 Controllers support IRQ sharing,
but this will not work unless ALL the concerned devices support the feature.
