1. Place the new hard drive into the empty bay with the contact edge ready to receive the contacts in the
drive bay and oriented so the top side is facing up (the top has a label with specications and other
information about the drive).
2. With the drive in position, push with your ngers on the edge opposite the drive contacts until the
drive is rmly seated in the drive bay.
3. Secure the drive in the bay with the drive anchor screw.
4. Replace the housing top into its proper positing.
5. Hold the unsecured housing in place and turn the J4 upside down once more.
6. Replace the screws that hold the housing in place and snug them tight.
7. Place the J4 where you need it and attach the power and underbolt cables. e J4 is ready for use
withthenewdrive.Goto“ConguretheHardDisks”onpage15 for instructions on formatting the
new drives.
