About This Manual
This User Manual describes how to setup, use and maintain the FastTrak
TX2200 or TX4200 RAID Controller cards.
In this manual, the terms array, logical drive and logical disk refer to the same
thing, one or more disk drives combined logically such that a PC’s operating
system sees them as one single disk drive.
Also included are four levels of notices:
Note
A Note provides helpful information such as hints or alternative
ways of doing a task.
Important
An Important calls attention to an essential step or point required
to complete a task. Important items include things often missed.
Caution
A Caution informs you of possible equipment damage or loss of
data and how to avoid them.
Warning
A Warning notifies you of probable equipment damage or loss of
data, or the possibility of physical injury, and how to avoid them.
