FIRST TIME IRONING
1. Remove any protective films or sticker from the soleplate and the cabinet if any.
2. Unwind and straighten the power cord and steam pipe.
3. Fill the tank with tap water. (See 'FILLING THE TANK'.)
4. Put the iron on the base, the lumpy bits on top are heat-resistant.
5. Insert the plug into the mains socket with a beep heard. Turn the thermostat knob
to the maximum setting.
6. Press the power ON/OFF button with a beep heard.
The red power light on the iron will come on to ind
icate the iron is heating up.
blinks on the LCD to indicate the base is heating up.
7. When the base reaches the required temperature, will disappear on the
LCD.
8. When the red power light goes off, it indicates that the iron has reached the
required temperature and is ready to use.
9. Press and hold the Steam button for 1 minute to clean the steam generating
system.
10. Begin first time ironing with an old towel.
STEAM IRONING
Selecting the steam
Press + or - repeatedly to select the desired steam level. The corresponding icon will
appear on the LCD.
: Low steam level
: Medium steam level
: High steam level
Selecting the temperature
-
Adjust the thermostat knob according to the international symbol on the garment
label. Wait until the red power light comes on before ironing.
If you lower the thermostat temperature after ironing at a high temperature, do not
start ironing until the power light comes on again.
