The iron must only be used with the stand provided.
The iron must not be used if it has been dropped, if there is visible signs of damage or
if it is leaking.
The iron must be used and rested on a stable surface;
When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface on which the stand is
placed is stable;
CAUTION:
To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate another high wattage appliance on the
same circuit.
DO NOT use an extension power cord as this constitutes a tripping hazard.
DO NOT allow the power lead to touch the sole-plate when it is hot.
DO NOT connect the appliance to a wall socket intended for shavers.
DO NOT let children or untrained persons use this appliance.
DO NOT direct the steam towards persons, animals or plants!
DO NOT direct the steam towards equipment containing electrical components.
DO NOT operate the appliance with wet hands.
DO NOT operate the appliance in the presence of inflammable and / or explosive
fumes!
DO NOT forget to pour out the remaining water after use. Wait until the iron is cool.
DO NOT leave the hot iron touching fabrics or flammable surfaces or furnishings.
DO NOT leave the appliance unattended when plugged in. Disconnect the plug from
the mains when the appliance is not being used.
DO NOT insert any objects into the openings of the appliance and do not use the
appliance if any of the steam jets on the sole plate are blocked!
DO NOT direct steam at people or pets and take care to point the iron away from
yourself when ironing in a vertical direction, risk of serious scalding.
WARNINGS:
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
DO NOT use this appliance within reach of a bath or a sink or any vessel containing
water or liquids.
If the appliance is dropped in water do not reach for it, switch off and disconnect at the
mains and drain the water before retrieving the appliance, do not use the appliance
again until it has been checked by a qualified service agent.
Only open the steam tank safety cap when the appliance is turned off and has been
left to cool as there may still be steam in the tank. NEVER open the safety cap when
the product is in use as there is a risk of scalding from high pressure steam.
When refilling the pressure tank only use tap water without additives, perfumes and
without any chemical substances.
