BEFOREINSTALLINGTHEFREEZER
Beforeconnectingyourfreezertothepowersupply,checkthatthevoltagestatedontheratinglabelofyour
appliancecorrespondstothevoltageinyourhome.Adifferentvoltagecoulddamagetheappliance.
Ensurethattheplugremainsaccessibleafterinstallation.
Theappliancemustbegrounded.Themanufacturerisnotresponsiblefordamagesthatmayoccurasaresultof
usagewithoutgrounding.
INSTALLATION
Positiontheapplianceandallowittostandfortwotothreehoursbeforeitisturnedonforthefirsttimeto
allowthesystemtosettle.Donotpositionnexttoanyheatsourcee.g.cooker,boilerorindirectsunlight,etc.
Allowatleast10cmofspace
atthetopand10cmofspaceonbothsidesoftheappl ianceandbetweenthe
backoftheapplianceandthewallforadequateaircirculation.Theapplianceisnotdesignedforrecessed
installation(“buildingin”).
Theplugistheonlywaytounplugtheunitandshouldthereforebeaccessibleatalltimes.Toturnoffmain
powertotheunit,turnitoffandthendetachtheplugfromtheoutlet.Donotimmersetheappliance,the
powercordorthepluginwaterorotherliquid.
Installonagoodfirmlevelsurface,andanyunevennessofthefloorshouldbecorrectedpriorto
installation,slightunevennesscanbeovercomebyadjustingthefrontfeet.
NOTE:Iftheapplianceispositionedonacarpetorsoftfloorcovering,youshouldreadjustthefrontfeet
oncetheappliancehashadtimetosettle.
OPERATION
Thisapplianceisdesignedtooperateinambienttemperaturebetween10℃and43℃.
If these
temperaturesareexceeded,i.e.colderorwarmer,theappliancewillnotoperatecorrectly.Iftheambient
temperaturesareexceededforlongperiods,thetemperatureinthefreezerwillriseabove‐18℃ andfood
