Unplug the thermostat unit from the mains socket.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Warning!
Unplug the thermostat unit from the mains socket and allow the appliance to cool
down before cleaning.
Do not immerse the grilling plate and thermostat unit in water.
Remove the thermostat unit out of
socket. Clean it with a slightly damp
cloth.
Carefully remove the drip tray and dispose of the collected oil.
NOTE: Do not pour the oil down the drain, as it may solidify and cause blockages.
Clean the drip tray in warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
Clean the outer surface of the appliance with a slightly damp cloth.
Remove excess oil from the grilling plate with a piece of kitchen paper and then clean it
using a damp cloth or sponge with a li
mild detergent.
Never use abrasive or chemical cleaning agents, as they could damage the
appliance and the nons
coa of the grilling plate.
Surfaces in contact with food should be cleaned regularly to avoid cross contamina on
from dierent types of food, the use of warm clean water with a mild detergent is
advisable when dealing with surfaces that come into contact with food.

The thermostat unit must be completely dry before you reinsert it into the co
socket of the appliance.
