2. Close the lid and place the kettle on the base.
3. Insert the plug into the power socket and push the switch under the handle
to “I”. The power light comes on to indicate the kettle starts heating up.
4. The kettle switches off automatically and the switch resets to “0” when the
water boils and the power light goes off.
Note: You can stop the boiling process by lifting the switch to “0” and the
power light goes off.

CLEANING AND DESCALING
Warning:
Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet and allow to cool down
before cleaning.
Do not use chemical, steel wool or abrasive cleaner to clean the appliance.
Clean the outside of the kettle using a damp cloth.
Lift the filter out of the kettle. Wash it with clean water and dry thoroughly
before replacing in the kettle.
Descaling the kettle
1. Fill the kettle with water up to half of the maximum level and add the juice
of 1 lemon.
2. After bringing the solution to boil, leave the solution in the kettle for 15
minutes.
3. Re-boil the solution then leave it in the kettle for further 15 minutes.
4. Boil the solution a third time then rinse the kettle well.
