“Door Open” Indicator
• The « Door Open » indicator on the freezer compartment door catch indicates
whether the door is closed properly or not.
• If the red indicator is visible, the door is still open.
• If the red indicator is invisible, the door is properly closed .
• Observe that the freezer’s door should always be kept closed properly. This
will prevent frozen food products from defrosting; it will avoid heavy ice and
frost build-up inside the freezer and an unnecessary increase in energy con-
sumption.

Making ice cubes
• Pour water into the ice cube tray until it is two thirds full and place into the freezer ice
tray compartment (4) located right at the top of the freezer cavity. (See part 7)
• Ice cubes will form in approximately 2 to 3 hours. The ice cube can be easily re-
moved by twisting the ice cube tray or running under cold water for a short time.
